The Game of Horseshoes is one of the oldest games still played today, It is believed that it is over 2,000 years old. Scoring is simple, closest to the stake gets point and better yet, get 3 points if you score a ringer!
Oliver Watkins who is a very enthusiasic player who has organized the match on Canada Day for 30 years makes sure that on Canada Day there is at least 16 or more people playing in Lewis Park from 9am till about 3:00, which includes a break at noon.
